Everyone is entitled to free NHS dental check-ups. You are entitled to other free NHS treatment if, at the start of the treatment, you:
• receive or entitled to receive Income Support, income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance, income-related Employment and Support Allowance, the guarantee credit part of Pension Credit or Universal Credit. Your partner and children will also be entitled to free treatment if they are included in your benefit award.
• are under 26 years
• are pregnant, or had a baby in the last 12 months
• certain Tax Credit awards
• HC2/HC3 certificate
If NHS charges apply you will be provided with a written estimate of costs and these should be paid on a per visit basis. Cash and card payments are accepted at the practice.
